Today I Saw the Sunshine Dance
By Edie Self
Aug 14, 2005
Today I saw the sunshine dance
in five waving cups
of nasturtium leaves.
Each gyrating globule of light in water
rolled to and fro
as the wind blew.
A strong gust dumped all,
a gentle zephyr a few;
with the sprinkler they grew.
Life's moments of magic
come unexpected,
brightening the ordinary
path of our days.
