Justice, Not Revenge
Dear People,
I would like to express my condolences to the families of the bombing victims. I
can't even imagine their anguish. How terrible for them....We need to enfold them
in our best support services, spiritual, financial and emotional, until they have
had a chance to heal!
At the same time I feel I have to say this: I think it's a mistake to base our national
policy on the powerful negative emotions we are all experiencing right now. Emotions
are temporary. We need a long cooling-off period before we decide to go to war. Also,
we need to be absolutely sure we know who did those terrible things, and we need
to take time to figure out why we are so hated!
Even though I expect it is a vain hope, I would like to see our national response
based upon a course of Love rather than Hatred.
Take care, hold love and peace in your heart,
Brooke Stone Clement
